Hi all. Well I got off to a good start for 2011 with a bit of scrapping this week. I have decided I really need to get through some of my old travel photos so made a start on them.
This is a LO of the house that Anne Frank and her family hid in during the war until their capture. I remember reading Anne Frank's book whilst at school and was really amazed by it so when I found myself stood inside the very house that she had written her diaries I was a bit overcome.
The picture doesn't really show it but the bottom left detail is a lovely glittery printed PP and the additional butterflies are from my lovely new Martha Stewart butterfly punch that I got for Christmas and just had to use!!
This photo was taken in Cologne and is of their unique water pipe system...ABOVE ground! We played a daily game of follow the blue pipe through Cologne city centre. I kept the LO fairly simple and just used different alphas to bring interest to the page.
Another LO from Cologne, this time with me posing with a giant Lindt chocolate bunny at the Lindt factory. I love Lindt chocolate bunnies and get 1 for Easter every year so fell in love with the giant bunny and "hopped" (excuse the pun) into his enclosure they had built so I could pose for a photo with him! I saved 1 of the red ribbon and bells from my bunny so that I could decorate my LO with it.
